Neil McCullough, Ph.D., has been named vice president of quality management systems, PPD, Inc. Dr. McCullough will provide strategic direction for quality management across all areas of the business and ensure full compliance with global regulations for the biopharmaceutical industry.
Prior to joining the company, Dr. McCullough spent nine years at Pfizer, most recently serving as senior director of the global R&D division, where he oversaw the good clinical practice and good laboratory practice quality assurance leadership team. His responsibilities included designing and implementing a risk-based approach to quality assurance to target audits across all functional areas of global clinical development. Dr. McCullough previous positions included serving as a consultant to GlaxoSmithKline's division of manufacturing, and site technical director at Polychem Ltd.
