Dick Hobbs, senior vice president and chief financial officer at Sensient Technologies Corp., will retire from the company in February 2015. Stephen Rolfs, Sensient’s current senior vice president of administration will take over the role. Mr. Hobbs served in the role since July 2000 and joined the company in 1973.
“Dick has been instrumental to the success of Sensient,” said Paul Manning, president and chief executive officer of Sensient. “The Company would not be where it is today without Dick’s financial and strategic leadership. We cannot thank him enough for all he has done.”
Mr. Rolfs joined the company in 1997 and served as controller and chief accounting officer, as well as treasurer and vice president of corporate development. Prior to Sensient, he was a financial analyst and assistant vice president at Brown-Forman Corp., a beverage and consumer products company.
“Steve brings leadership skills, financial experience, and a deep knowledge of our business to the role,” added Mr. Manning. “His expertise will be critical in helping the Company deliver value-enhancing growth over the coming years.”
