Dr. Jeff Schwegman, founder and chief executive officer at AB BioTechnologies, spoke with Contract Pharma at CPhI North America 2018 to announce their ongoing expansion in the contract manufacturing of clinical trial supplies.
The expansion includes a 23,000 sq. ft. facility, which features labs, manufacturing areas, controlled temperature storage, and packaging and labeling capabilities. A state-of-the-art, totally enclosed, robotically operated filling line will also be featured in the new facility. AB Bio's goal is to have capability to offer clients services from early stage development, all the way to small-scale commerical batch manufacturing.
