At Interphex 2019, ChargePoint Technology’s Senior Product Manager, Ben Wylie, sat down with Contract Pharma to discuss new company developments and technology, aseptic & manufacturing trends, the increased demand for HPAPI’s, and more.

This after ChargePoint recently introduced new, single use additions to its portfolio: the ChargePoint Single Use Passive (SUP) and ChargeBag PE-S with new HiPure ULP7 PE film.

Commenting on aseptic manufacturing industry trends, Wylie says a trend he is seeing is people looking for ways to put tighter controls into place to increase control. With this comes the increased use of isolators in production, because customers are looking on how to control the transfers into critical areas. Wylie also said he feels reliance on the cleanroom only is shifting to a trend of the past.
