Accupac is doubling capacity and expanding capabilities with a 221,000-sq.-ft. facility in Lakewood, NJ. The facility has more than 25 years of liquid contract manufacturing experience and a superior regulatory track record, according to the company. Accupac will expand its manufacturing offering to include production of ingestibles, large-scale soap and body washes, and striped toothpaste. The facility will create as many as 300 new jobs when fully staffed, according to Mark Hallett, general manager of Accupac Lakewood.

“Focus on strategic growth in our business over the past three years has uniquely positioned us to offer the best solutions to the liquid contract manufacturing industry,” said Mark Hinkel, vice president of sales and marketing. “This expansion allows us to offer more flexibility and capabilities to our clients. And we will continue to provide the best customer service out there.”

The Lakewood facility was sublet from DPT Labs. DPT has consolidated its non-sterile liquid business into its San Antonio operations and has retained its emerging specialty sterile products business in Lakewood.
