AMRI Adds CIO Role

Wang brings 25 years of IT experience

Jimmy Wang, Ph.D., has been appointed to the newly created position of chief information officer at AMRI. He replaces Carl Neumann who is retiring. Dr. Wang will manage and oversee major technology initiatives, as well as IT operations, and will be responsible for implementing scalable and agile IT solutions that align with growth objectives and global operations.
 
Dr. Wang has 25 years of experience managing and deploying technology solutions at various companies. Most recently he served as senior vice president and chief information officer at OPKO Health Inc., where he established the company’s global IT governance process centralized IT delivery organization. Dr. Wang was also senior vice president and chief information officer at Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc., and served as vice president and chief information officer at Teva Pharmaceuticals-America.
