Avion Pharmaceuticals has appointed Harold Deas as chief executive officer. Mr. Deas, who will retain his role as chief operating officer, has been instrumental in helping Avion build a successful portfolio of women’s health and dermatology products. Mr. Deas will be driving corporate expansion while identifying strategic opportunities within the markets core to the company’s business.

Daily commercial operations and management will continue to be led by Michael Sullivan, president, Avion.
