Yvonne Verburgt has been named vice president of business development and marketing for Avrio Biopharmaceuticals, LLC. “We are very excited to bring Yvonne on board,” said Assad J. Ms. Verburgt has more than 28 years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Most recently she was the head of Business Development at Pharmatek Laboratories, where she led the sales team to help expand business for pharmaceutical chemistry development services. She previously worked as the director of North American sales for Patheon, and held similar sales and management roles for companies including Oread, Inc., Becton Dickinson, Behring Diagnostics, Abbott Laboratories, and Johnson & Johnson.
