Bilcare Research AG is investing more than €50 million in new capacities aimed at accelerating growth in domestic markets as well as in South America and Asia.
 
Originally a films producer, the company has evolved into a provider of integrated services, including foils for the pharma, cards, print, and sleeve industries, as well as special applications. In 2013, as part of its strategy to focus on pharmaceutical packaging, the company exited its PVC/PE films business for food packaging at its site in Fucine Italy and overhauled the facility for the Pharma films business of Alfatherm.
