Catawba Research, a full-service contract research organization (CRO) for innovative trial management, has appointed Andy Silverman, chief operating officer (COO).

Silverman has more than 30 years of deep clinical trial and executive experience within the CRO space, most recently as executive vice president, global operations at Syneos Health.

Prior to his global role, Silverman held several executive roles across the CNS division at INC Research (now Syneos) for over 15 years. Dr. Silverman was the co-founder and COO of startup CRO, Tanistry, and associate director at both PPD and Pharmaco.
