Fette Compacting has extended its line of capsule filling machines for medium-sized batches of up to 200,000 capsules per hour with the new FEC20, featuring intuitive operation and full control over all process steps.

Like the FEC40 with high output of up to 400,000 capsules per hour, the smaller FEC20 features an ultra-modern drive concept based on servo and torque motors and intuitive operation, as well as a patented removal system for the tamping pin station. The FEC20 offers a more compact footprint of about 1.6 square meters.

The use of servo and torque motors makes it possible to decouple previously linked process steps and adjust them independently. According to the company, this reduces the overall processing time without compromising quality, and increases machine productivity. The FEC20 is available in two interchangeable configurations and users can choose between a tamping pin station and up to three pellet stations.
