Langham Logistics to Host Ribbon Cutting in Whitestown, Indiana

New life sciences services warehouse boasts 161,000 square feet of pallet space.

Langham Logistics, a provider of transportation, warehousing and distribution services to life sciences, has announced a ribbon cutting ceremony with State officials at its new life sciences services warehouse in Whitestown, Indiana. The event will be held on July 14 at 4995 Perry Worth Road, from 4 p.m. through 7 p.m.

The new warehouse boasts 161,000 square feet of pallet space, including more than nine thousand spaces at 15-25 degrees Celsius, more than ten thousand at 2-8 degrees Celsius, and more than 1300 pallet spaces at minus 20 degrees Celsius.

The space has two backup power generator systems and cutting-edge automation and visibility technologies. It will provide access to ocean, air, freight, truckload, expedited, less than truckload, intermodal, and cGDP transport capabilities as well as raw material storage and clinical trial kitting and distribution with thermal protective packaging options, all of which is run through an FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant warehouse management system.

“This new warehouse is going to open opportunities to life science businesses with direct access to the Midwest and beyond,” president & CEO of Langham Logistics Cathy Langham said. “We’re excited and honored to celebrate with State leaders, our clients, and our team.”

This warehouse is a continuation of the growth plan Langham has been executing for its life science services logistics operations. Last year, Langham Logistics was certified by the Indiana Board of Pharmacy in preparation for this warehouse after having opened a location in Phoenix and built community with AZBio when Cathy Langham joined the board of directors.
