Myoderm, a global clinical trial supply company, announced that effective July 1, 2019, Michael Cohen, currently chief executive officer, will transition to executive chairman of the company and James Lovett, the current chief operating officer, will assume the role of chief executive officer and will report to Michael. In addition, Myoderm’s president Robby Cohen will also take on the role of co-chairman.  
 
The moves are the result of the company’s growth in recent years. Under Michael’s leadership, Myoderm has expanded service offerings and strengthened manufacturer and sourcing partnerships around the globe, in addition to opening a second facility in the UK and expanding the employee base. With Lovett assuming overall leadership as chief executive officer, Michael will focus on strategic growth opportunities. 
 
Since being named chief operating officer in 2017, Lovett has been key in identifying new ways to serve clients in the evolving industry and improving internal operations to benefit employees and clients. Before joining Myoderm, he served as a senior vice president of Princeton, NJ-based Covance, a global contract research organization and drug development services company, where he led three different business units, as well as served as general counsel.
