Rentschler Biopharma Appoints Project Management SVP

Dr. Hunzinger brings 15 years of industry experience in biopharmaceutical R&D

Dr. Christian Hunzinger has been appointed senior vice president Project Management, Rentschler Biopharma SE. Dr. Hunzinger has more than 15 years of industry experience in R&D of biopharmaceuticals. He succeeds Dr. Klaus Schoepe who plans to retire in 2019 after working for the company for 14 years.
 
Dr. Hunzinger previously served as Biotech CMC Program Lead at Merck where, under a strategic alliance with Pfizer, he was responsible for all issues relating to CMC development and thus substantially involved in the successful approval of the cancer immunotherapeutic drug Bavencio (avelumab). At Merck, he held various positions of increasing responsibility in Healthcare and Life Sciences.
