Will jointly provide customers with a wider range of advanced temperature-controlled solutions and services.

Temperature-controlled container specialists Tower Cold Chain and CRYOPDP have announced a strategic partnership aimed at expanding their product offerings to the pharmaceutical supply chain, with a particular focus on clinical research. The collaboration will provide customers with a wider range of advanced temperature-controlled solutions and services, addressing the evolving needs of patients. Tower Cold Chain will be adding CRYOPDP’s dry vapor shippers to its portfolio. These shippers, designed for cryogenic goods, maintain temperatures from -196°C to -150°C using liquid nitrogen and absorbent materials. This expansion will allow Tower to offer a comprehensive range of passive temperature-controlled solutions, catering to all shipment sizes and temperature requirements. In return, CRYOPDP will now offer Tower’s fully reusable small box solutions, the KTEvolution range, to its customers. These solutions are ideal for small payloads and last-mile delivery. By incorporating the KTEvolution range, CRYOPDP can enhance its current offerings with sustainable passive containers. Niall Balfour, CEO at Tower Cold Chain, said, “We are delighted to announce our collaboration with CRYOPDP, which allows us to expand our product range. This partnership enables Tower to offer sustainable, cryogenic-level solutions to the pharmaceutical supply chain, ultimately helping to improve patient outcomes worldwide.” Cedric Picaud, CEO of CRYOPDP, added, “Working with Tower Cold Chain enables us to become a one-stop shop for our customers. We can now meet our sustainability targets by offering fully reusable containers for temperature-sensitive logistics. Together, we can provide pharmaceutical manufacturers with the most comprehensive range of temperature-controlled solutions available.” With a combined global reach of 59 hubs, Tower and CRYOPDP’s temperature-controlled assets are available worldwide through their networks of strategic Logistics Centers, hubs, and distributors. This enhanced accessibility will provide greater convenience and proximity for customers.
