Trial By Fire Solutions, a web-based clinical trial management solutions provider, has expanded its SimpleTrials product, an on-demand, subscription-based clinical trial management system (CTMS). SimpleTrials is designed to support sponsors, sites and vendors and allows users to manage calendars, milestones, documents, subjects and payments in a scalable feature set.
 
The new electronic visit report (eVR) feature adds a report authoring and approval workflow tool for clinical monitoring teams. A template builder is available at the portfolio level for multi-study use. Additional features include eVR attachments; integrated action items and subject deviations; alerts; and performance metrics and reports.
 
These features aim to improve site activity management by eliminating the need for document exchange via email. Users can access real-time information and draft and approve content, and the eVR is integrated with SimpleTrials’ visit calendars and eTMF to provide a more comprehensive solution.
