Logistics Services Provider Woodfield Distribution, LLC (WDSrx) recently opened two additional warehouses in San Antonio, TX and in Reno, NV to serve manufacturers of pharmaceutical drug products and related categories.
 
The new locations establish a national presence for WDSrx in major pharmaceutical hubs in New Jersey, Florida, Ohio, Texas and Nevada. Total capacity in the WDSrx network exceeds 650,000 square feet of GMP compliant facilities for warehousing, fulfillment and additional services including cold chain capabilities for medications and dietary supplements.
 
“Our growth strategy accelerated during the current business climate responding to additional client requirements and to anticipate needs of future customers,” according to WDSrx President Adam Runsdorf. “These facility locations mark our westward expansion designed to increase productivity and efficiency of our 3PL services.”
 
San Antonio, Texas
WDSrx expands into San Antonio, TX providing pharmaceutical warehousing and logistics services from a 54,000 square foot strategic location at 1310 Cornerway Boulevard in the Cornerstone Industrial Park. The WDSrx expansion fills the need for specialized logistics services in the underserved Austin-San Antonio corridor.
 
With immediate access to Highway 410 and I-10, the warehouse accommodates multiple services for pallets as well as pick, pack and ship operations for smaller orders. The flexible space will include additional services depending on client requirements.
 
“It’s hot in Texas, but cool in our warehouse,” said logistics manager Chris Martin. “Our warehouse responds to the need for an air-conditioned Controlled Room Temperature environment with expertise to manage special handling of prescription and over-the-counter medications and supplements.”

 
Reno, Nevada
WDSrx secured 78,605 square feet of warehouse capacity at 1175 Trademark Drive in the Reno, NV South Meadows Business Park to handle and distribute prescription and over-the-counter medications, nutritional supplements and related products. The warehouse provides easy access to Interstate 580.
 
The WDSrx expansion into the South Reno submarket fills the need for specialized logistics services to accommodate economic growth in the area of distribution centers, technology start-ups and manufacturing. Entering this blossoming market will support business of a current prominent supplement manufacturer client and also provide new business opportunities for pharmaceutical logistics in the Reno/Sparks region.
