Worldwide Clinical Trials Appoints Global Quality VP

Holland to implement a risk-based clinical quality management system to ensure compliance

Margo Holland has been named vice president of Global Quality at Worldwide Clinical Trials. In her new role, Ms. Holland will be responsible for the implementation of a risk-based clinical quality management system to ensure compliance with international regulations for a full range of services associated with the conduct of clinical trials, including clinical and medical monitoring, project management, data management, pharmacovigilance, depot services, and biostatistics.

Ms. Holland has held a variety of leadership roles within CROs and pharmaceutical companies. Previously she served as the Quality Assurance head of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practices (GPP) and, most recently, head of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc., where she was a key to the strategy development and deployment of the company’s GxP Quality Management System.
