Paul Surdez has been appointed to the new role of vice president of Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations at Envigo. Mr. Surdez has 20 years of experience having held leadership roles in the CRO and lab industries in investor relations and corporate communications. This appointment follows Envigo’s merger agreement with Avista Healthcare Public Acquisition Corp., which is expected to close 1Q18.

Mr. Surdez previously led the investor relations programs for Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) and Covance.
