The Situation:

When Johnson & Johnson (J&J) decided to outsource some of its consumer products, Pharma Tech industries was one of several companies interested in the opportunity.

The Challenge:

p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica; min-height: 14.0px} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 12.1px; font: 10.0px Helvetica; color: #00628f} p.p3 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 10.1px; font: 10.0px Helvetica; color: #686a6c} span.s1 {font: 12.0px Helvetica; color: #000000}

Pharma Tech soon realized that to manufacture J&J’s products at a high standard required “outside the box” thinking. The problem was that in 2005, no one had the capacity to handle the enormous volume of topical powder products that J&J was then producing at its manufacturing facility in Royston, Georgia.
