Bosch has introduced the Sigpack VPF vertical flat pouch machine and the horizontal flow wrapping machine Sigpack HML, for the non-aseptic packaging of pharmaceuticals.
The new vertical flat pouch machine Sigpack VPF was developed for packaging powders. Pain killers in powder form are among the products typically filled into sachets. The machine’s sealing technology produces hermetically sealed packages to protect the product. The VPF allows manufacturers to expand sachet production by up to twelve lanes, and the pouch size can be adapted according to customer requirements. The machine can produce and fill as many as 1,500 sachets per minute.
The compact horizontal flow wrapping machine for hermetic packaging can be loaded independently or integrated into a complete line. The Sigpack HMUL or HML is available either with ultrasonic or heat sealing technology.
CIP/SIP cleaning systems and sterilization equipment can also be integrated into the production process. With the new machine range, manufacturers now have the ability to hermetically package the insulin pens into flow wraps with end-of-line solutions such as the Sigpack TTMP cartoner.
